1. Definition & Structural Design
Ball transfer units (BTUs) are omnidirectional rolling devices used in material handling systems to enable smooth multidirectional movement of loads. Key components include:

· Support Bushings: Rotatably mounted bronze/steel bushings to minimize sliding friction.
